Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Full HD Movie Trailer



Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a 2016 American 3D dark fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton and written by Jane Goldman, based on the 2011 novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs. The film stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Chris O'Dowd, Allison Janney, Rupert Everett, Terence Stamp, Ella Purnell, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson.



Filming began in February 2015 in London and the Tampa Bay Area. It premiered at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas on September 25, 2016 and will be released in the United States on September 30, 2016, by 20th Century Fox.

Cast[edit]

Eva Green as Miss Alma LeFay Peregrine, the strict but caring and beloved headmistress of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children with the ability to transform into a peregrine falcon.

Asa Butterfield as Jacob "Jake" Portman, a 16-year old American teenager who visits Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and is given the task/promise to protect the Peculiar Children.

Chris O'Dowd as Franklin Portman, Jake's Irish father who had a troubled relationship with Abraham.

Terence Stamp as Abraham Portman, Jake's late grandfather who dies mysteriously and without warning.

Callum Wilson as a young Abraham Portman, a teenager who has the peculiarity to talk to Hollows and see Wights through their disguises.

Judi Dench as Miss Esmeralda Avocet, the headmistress of Miss Avocet's Home for Peculiar Children who escapes to Miss Peregrine's after the Wights and Hollows invade her time loop and kill her children. She can also transform into an avocet bird.

Kim Dickens as Mrs. Portman, Jake's mother.
